hey guys, shock is getting rebuilt (180$$) now its time to work on the carb for an easier start. I need a rebuild kit, anyone know where I can purchase one??? All the dealers say I have to buy the parts seperately , however I know i have seen the kits. Anyone know where to pick one up at??? Also, does anyone know where I can get a brighter (halogen or the bright white ones) bulb for the headlight, and what would help me the most if if anyone knows how I can put foglights on my quad instead of the big ugly headlight? I think it would look so much better, I think all I would need to know is which wire is the hot , then just ground the wires to the frame. Anyone know which one is the hot? the clymer manual isn't that easy to follow the wiring diagram. This would be alot of help, then also, would the normal light switch workto turn on the headlight and then I would just have no highbeam??? Or is there anyother way? Let me know guys. Thanks.

first of all y do you have a 11 tooth front sprocket on there?that has to kill ur topend go through the gears too fast.i have the stock 12 and it goes through 1 and 2 too fast but the 13tooth kills my bottom end and gives gobs of top.Now to the question,my brother hooked up some fog lights to his 250x.the switch just turns them off and on.he has no high,low beam.i too would like to find a much brighter halogen or white light for the LT250.will any automotive light work?mine is stock and all yellowish looking.
