Default quadzilla help

took my beast for a test run tonite and was running wide open and just about to shift in 5th gear and it started loosing power so slowed down and was about to stop and heard a growling noise so shut it off and pulled the plug to see what was going on and the plug was light choclate brown so thought that was okay put the plug back in it and tried to start it and when i would kick it the kick starter would kick back hard and never got it started .

Default quadzilla help

Mine did that when I first got it,before Vito did his magic on the engine, what was happening was it was overheating and the piston was swelling and siezing,I let it cool off and it would kick over and start. What Vito found was the crank bearing's and seal's were bad,and the carb was too lean. After getting the engine back from Vito I've had no problem's with it.This was when he was doing engine work.

ride on. I found the problem my counterbalance shaft bearing is either shot or the nut that holds the gear on the counter balance shaft vibrated off again hop not cause it will usually ruin the shaft. have you ever had a problem with that?
