Default LT80 Chain Adjustment Remedy

Thought I pass this on to owners of the LT80 (my son owns an LT80) ,who want to find out
about adjustments on the LT80's chain with none.I finally decided to modify the carriers
at my TOOL and Die Shop to allow the axle to move enough to tighten the chain. Its a
shame that the engineers did not incorporate this into the die that stamped out the carriers.
How long does it take to modify the holes less than an hour.I just slotted the holes enough
to gain adjustment, then tightened up the carrier bolts.contact me if you have any questions at NTDTOOL4U@AOL.com

Default LT80 Chain Adjustment Remedy

Now there's a good, no nonsense approach to a problem !!! all the years I had an LT80, that loose chain always worried me, I ended up putting a new one on every other season to make sure it didn't stretch enough to jump off the sprockets !! Thanks for the input, a lot of LT owners out there will appreciate it !

I thought of that years ago.
I just thought that drilling a hole and adding a roller was a simpler way.
Good thinking tho
