My brother's lt is acting up on the rear he says that he can move his axle side to side with it moving so bad that he says the sprocket is actually hitting the swingarm could someone diagnose this please. Also the I beleive chain adjuster bolts one is broken and I've looked on the net can't really find it could you find this part at the hardware store or someone give me a link please. Also warrior for sale or a definite even trade for a lt I have it posted in the classifieds

Sunds like the rear axle bearings are beat out of it, or else the axle came loose. This could also have something to do with the fact that you have broken chain adjuster and theres nothing holding the axle in there solid.

Side to side movement? Yeo the bearings are done. Wait till they go while you are riding it. That's a ton of fun.

it could be the axle carrier is broke also, mine broke on my '87 lt250r after the bolts got loose and the carrier shifted around,

by the way, you say lt, but what is it a lt250s, lt230s, lt250r etc...?????? all the axle carriers are different, i found one used in the classifieds in dirt wheels, but try e-bay.

If it has alot of play and you ride it like that, you can toss a chain. Then you'll be looking for a good aluminum welder to fix the hole in your engine case.
