Default LT250r Trans. Oil
Hey ok..i just got a 92 LT-250r...what kind of gear oil do I put in the Trasmission/Crankcase or whatever???

Golden Spectrol cluth lube/tranny lube.

i use 20w 40 motor oil. Like is says in the manual.

belray 80w is the way to go. nice quad also! list some details!

Thanks..that thing is a rocket..I burned a 2003 400ex yesterday......but It is stock and his 400ex is really nice and all...but I dont really know EVERYTHING it has...I will put on there what i do know it has....

P.S. what is that didididididididi dude talkin about?? 20w-40??? Thats motor oil not gear oil...i think i wil go with the belray stuff....thx

I also have to say..nice bike to you too...I know mine doesnt have that much stuff....and that guy talkin about that Golden spektrol has a 500quadzilla....so ya i will go with the Belray..thx again

The owner's and shop manual both call for 10w40 motor oil to be used in the tranny. It's not the best, but useable in a pinch.

P.S. where do you get that Belray from?? do you just get it like from a cycle shop??
