Tell me about the YZ250 piston in the lt250r...

I was told by the previous owner that my quadracer has a yz250 piston in it.
Has anyone ever heard of this before?
What is the advantage/reason for this?
Thanks.

Go to:
http://www.ftzracing.com/ATVpg.html
Click on:
Portwork, Headwork & Engine BuildiNG
And they describe why it is used, what they do to make it fit, and how much it costs.
I was told LRD built my motor and it has their logo and a number scribed in it so they must do the yz piston thing also. I haven't contacted them about it yet but someday I will need to do a top end and will have to figure out what parts I need.
