OT suzuki dr350 jetting problem
I have a buddy that has a Suzuki dr350 1991. He has always had problems starting it and it's always different. A while back he got some letter from the manufacture stating there is a jetting issue but they were vague and so was he.
Does anyone know a good site or forum I could look this up for him or anyone with experience with this issue and know the fix?
Thanks

It sounds like it is lean. check to see if the choke( enrichener ) is working. If there is a way to cover the air intake, while cranking, that will work like a choke and itll start much easier. Use your hand or a piece of duct tape, and cover the intake about 80%.
You may need to remove the plug over the mixture screw, and adjust it richer( out)
Its posible it needs a bigger pilot jet, but try those other things first.
heres a site on rejetting

Heres a pictoral on the carb
