Im fitting a new main jet and a new idle jet to my z400. I have managed to get into the bottom of the carburettor with the float and i have fit the smaller of the two jets. It has 35 on the side where as the stock was 22.5. Is this jet the idle?

I have managed to fit that, but the 170 jet is seeming a bit difficult to find. There seem to be 3 brass jets with in the floatation tank, but i dont know where to fit the 170 jet..

Please give me a heling hand...

The main jet is number 18 in the pic. Number 42 is the pilot jet. And thats quite a jump, youre taking, in size on the pilot jet. Usually going one up is all thats needed.Yes the 22.5 is the pilot jet.
