Default Tires for zilla

I have some dominators at about 1/2 tread on the zilla, and boy this no traction thing is getting old. Really thinking about holeshots, but maybe someone could reccomend something else? I ride trails, little mud, fields, grass etc. Any ideas?

i have holeshots on mine right now and they kick a$$ they are 18inch tires witch gives it the extra torque its awsome, if its really rutty where you ride dont go with 18" get the 20"s

Yeah... I'd say the "Holeshots" " XCT" reason being is your doing everything that a gncc
racer would ride through and you need something thats gonna be responsive to all the different
conditions. Get the 6 ply so you don't take the chance on a flat.

If you want a tire that give's good traction get a peir of 400EX radial rear tire's,they grip in loose sand, hard pack, grass, mud, ice, etc.I have them on my Zilla and for drag racing on hard pack track's these work great!I was'nt going to buy them until on year at the ice race's I saw a guy pull a wheelie on the ice with out them being studded.

Whaaattt!!? Are you serious? Those radials can do that on ice without studs??
I didn't think anyone would have lack of common sense to go out on ice without studs especially
ice racing! Usually everyone uses the Chensheng with about 150 - 200 studs per tire. This was on
a 2 stroke no less?? I don't think I'd be racin a 2 stroke without studs askin for trouble !

Stock zilla tires (dunlop kt339 or something kt) are awesome on the ice. Consequently, if anybody has a relatively new set laying around I'd be very interested in picking a set up. PM me.

I just can't belive that the 2 strokers run ice without studs.... Thats incredible!!!
They hook up just as good as studers huh, and they don't hit the high revs spining?
I didn't pay much attention to whats on mine cause the machine's ugly right now{ going through
restoration} but the ones I've got on the back kinda resemble tractor{big} tires are those the stock ones your talking about?? If so should I stick with them for the winter riding??
Thanks ... I still can't belive that, and on a Zilla no less and on the ice ... incredible!!!
