i bought a Z400 about 5 months ago and i want to put a pipe on- what is the best slip on?i have about $400-how much hp would this add- what would the top speed be about- any other suggestions?-thanx-

chazekxt and 03hmfz convinced me to get the hmf slip on for 254.49 w/sparkarrestor. but u could get an entire system for 450.??

 

i looked at hmfengineering.com- i would rather spend the extra $ somewhere other than a full system-i will probably buy the hmf in a couple weeks-What does the spark arrestor do?What could I do with the extra $?

 

spark arrestor makes it so u can ride on public land and not get ticketed for having an exaust that could backfire and create sparks that could start a forest fire.

mainly just a saftey precaution. ur stock exaust has one.

u could spend the extra money on some new sprockets and a really good chain. maybe a 15/42 gearing that will make ur z fly

if u want proof do a search for "fast z".
