My lt230s 1986 don't start, he start after very long time... HELPPP ME!!!!

 

It could be many different things, do you have spark? take the plug out leave it connected to the wire and have someone ground it against the cylinder and kick it over a few times, you should see the spark plug fire when you do this. If not then take the left side case cover off and examine your stator, if stator is ok, check that it is turning on the crank, I have broken my flywheel key on my LT and it is an easy fix. If you need parts for this let me know.

 

sandcowboy where did you get the high comp piston and what stage cam do you have.

 

I found the piston on E-Bay from Inland ATV in California. It was made by Arias for White Brothers who no longer offer it. The cam is a White Brothers (made by Web Cam for them). I am not familiar with "stages", but it is a motocross style cam, with a very strong midrange and top end. I have yet to top out fifth gear!, the only problem with this set up is the amount of torque I make. this combo is unreal, I get tire spin in 4th gear (stock gearing)!! I am now working on finding a suitable gearing combo that will keep me in the "cam" and still be trail ridable. I am selling this quad. contact me @ gv427@msn.com for details.
