reverse rev limiter
#2
You need a rev limiter on your "posts", Aaran! Yer' dubble postin'!
W/out a tach, you'd be a little harder on it, but back 'er off when the vavles start to float! How much more are you wanting rev out? You'd really only gain some more R's on the extreme top end.

As far as I understand, there is a way to remove the REVERSE rev limiter.
This is seperate from the rev limiter that kicks in when you get to top
RPM"s.
Anyone can correct me if I am wrong.
But, to answer Aaran's question, by removing the REVERSE rev limiter,
you wont damage your engine.

There is an old post in this forum that gives detailed instructions on how to do it, just use your search. And as far as I know, the reg. rev limiter is always there, even if you disconnect the reverse. Even if it isn't, just make sure you're not over revving for long lengths of time and you won't have a prob. If you gun it for minutes on end, then you run the risk of serious seizure.
