well,as you all know my quadracer is a p.o.s... it is an 87,i found a 1990 250 quadracer trans absolutely dirt cheap,the transmissions for 87-90 are the same arent they?

Yes, the only major motor difference between 87 and 88-92 is the jug. The intake is much larger on the 87. The whole bottom end can be swapped between them. 85 and 86's are different altogether and can't be interchanged.
