Setting timing chain - lt125?????

first take off the chain tensioner, then look at the end of the cam, there should be two lines on it that should line up with the top of the cylinder head. there is also a gold pin of somesort that should be facing up. make sure that the two lines are slanted to the left a little further so that when the tensioner is put on the lines should be parallel to the top of the head. next find the letter t on your flywheel , this means the piston is at the top of the cylinder. hold the cam still and rotate the flywheel to the left until the t reaches the notch that looks like an arrow on the tranny case. next hold them both still and have someone reinstall the chain tensioner.
