Anyone know what the timing should be set at on a 1984 LT125? It ran OK last summer this summer it won't start. It has good spark and is getting gas.

Default 1984 LT125 Timing?

first take off the chain tensioner, then look at the end of the cam, there should be two lines. these two lines should be horizontal the the top of the cylinder head (keep in mind that the gold pin on the end of the cam should be on the top). once this is lined up look for a small t on the flywheel, while holding the cam in place, rotate the flywheel to the left until the t matches up with the pointer on the tranny case. hold both in place and install the chain tensioner.
