can i gaine any horse power by changing the timing? do they make keyways for thease bikes like banshee's?i know you can rotate the srator some if so how much and wich way CW or CCW[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] thanks

 

I know on yamaha banshees you can advance the timing and it makes them faster,i dont know how much power it adds,or how much to advance it.i think you might have to buy an adjustable stator plate to do it on them too. if you can do it to one two stroke motor,i dont see why it wouldnt work on an lt.but i have no clue how to do it

 

actually i just removed the flywheel from my lt250,and the coil or whatever is adjustable,looks like you can move it about a quarter inch,i dont know if it will be to your advantage or disadvantage though

 

I'm not sure on the keyway if they make them,but on my PVL ignition you don't want to advance the timimg more than .087 before TDC.,anything more then that will cause it to fire and back kick the kicker and cause serious pain in the arch of your foot.
