With a built motor these do not do d!ck, because
a. your power cuts off sooner then you tack out already even with the stock limiter!
b. performace cams only make power to around 7-8 grand IF THAT!
c. the only that it could maybe do is advance ur timeing curve...and that would prolly be so miniscule that you couldnt even tell the difference!

Why would it be any different with a stock motor?......rev box wont let u wind out to the point where u get more TOP SPEED????
No no no! My motor makes power all the way up to 9800 RPM's! A Dyna ignition is a must for a built motor.

You are right about a stock motor though, you would lose tons of power if you were in fact able to rev out to those high RPM's, as the power falls way off the curve.

I added my big Guns cdi and noticed a power differances. Especially when you dragrace and you dont have to worry about hitting the rev limiter. As well as when you have performance parts and need the extras R's to push a little more power. I do believe that the cdi do alot. Look on the Kawasaki site were the topic is "Biggest Test Modual at the Strip". He does test on differnt cdi 's on a p700.

Did Suzuki fix the "rigid rear suspension" under acceleration issue? What about the weak frames? Hope you enjoy the new Z...

Default BACK TO THE Z400!!!

First off i work online for ComCast as an online sales associate....yet i do have to help ppl, meaning i work as a tech also! ComCast offers Internet Services, Web Browsing Services, and Email! I get paid decent, but where i really roll it in is on ebay......

Right now i am in the process of pricein out all my raptor parts...i have about 7grand in stuff to sell!

I get pretty good discounts though my Norwalk dealership because of parts and racing....i also found online retailers that i can buy from that are just above "cost"........

Right now i am in the process of working things out with the guy that i get a new bike from! Hes convinced that i should get into the 450R and not another LTZ!

He is also the person that i get all my parts from usually so i do not know wut is going on at this time yet.....he has to get back to his manager on a price on the 450

It makes sense to me, and i just see it as newer technology!

Im still pushing to get the LTZ but i wont go that rout depending on how irresistible the price is on the 450

The parts that i have ordered already are not a problem he said, as they will just stock them!

Im wondering how much i would miss reverse, and how much of a b!tch kickstart would be!

any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated!

you guys will prolly wigg if i get a honda LOL especially since i have been pretty much dead set on the 05Z, and was assured that that was the rout to take!

My next GNCC is on Oct 9 & 10 @ Power Line Park St. Clairsville, OH im stoked to get back into racing, since the raptor has been either not working well enough or straight up down for the last few months...

the hondas are very easy to kickstart wether theyre cold or hot. either way you go will work fine you can make both handle good, and go fast. I would base my decision on which is most comfortable for me its the 450.
