my buddy just got his next White borthers E series put on with a UNI airfilter and moose jet kid, we got it all installed at the dealer, ran good for a while and then the power slowely went away and now it bogs down and sputters after half throttle its kinda like having the revv limiter kick in but its not.

what do you guys think is up, bad jets?

 

my bike did the same thing. we took the carb off and
found out the main jet fell out of the carb
I guess they didnt tighten it when they put it back together
it would still run but had no power and was cutting out about 1/2 throttle

 

what jet did they put in it?? size. what about the air screw.?

 

it was the main jet in the bottom of the carb where the needle goes through
when it fell out it made it run rich
when ever you pipe a motor you have to rejet the main jet larger or smaller
I would take it back to the dealer who installed it and have them check it out

Sounds like your, i am sorry your "friends" running a little rich and the carb could be biulding up with gas after awile. making it bog.

 

I would definitely take it back to the dealer.....

i think ill just take apart the carb for him see if it is the main jet
