I own 2 of them. Both are '85 LT250R's
Both have been torn down and stripped and repainted a different color than stock (no more blue), both have full new Meiar plastic.
One I paid $1400 for (the one I ride), it was freshly rebuilt engine when I got it. It's got a FMF Gold Fatty + silencer, 39mm Mikuni, K&N clamp-on (no airbox), 4" extended swingarm, newer aluminum thumb throttle housing, Renthral Bars, Taller Haulers & Dune runners, new brakes & stainless rear rotor, new chain/sprockets, fully repainted with red frame, silver suspension (all clearcoated), and grey fenders and black hoods and seat. (most people look at it awhile to figure out it aint a Honda [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img] ) total investment is close to $2000
The second one I paid $300 for (wife rides it), It was blown up when I got it. I rebuilt it and ported it. It's got just an aftermarket Silencer (stock pipe still), stock carb, K&N clamp-on, but the porting makes it as fast as mine… for now (mine is going to get ported very soon and hopefully blow hers away) I replaced the frame and gusseted the new one, stripped and repainted metallic black and clearcoated, silver suspension, New yellow Meiar plastics, Tusk aluminum bars, Sandskates and Dunetrackers. Since it is yellow most people know right away it's a LT250R. total investment is around $1500
