Default ~crank~ this is rediculous

so i get my crank checked out,the guy at the shop says its bad because there is corrosion where the stator side seal goes on it,so he goes to order a wiseco crank setup, and it only lists 88-92,i told him the 87 (wich i have)is the same as an 88.then he says he wont order the part and instal it because it wont fit.I thought the 87-92 cranks were the same? i know i have asked this before, but is there anyone that is positive that the 87-88 cranks are the same?

If youve got two different part numbers theres a good chance they are different.
