I think its an incredible looking machine, once you take the headlight out. That blue frame is sharp looking. I don't see why everybody complains about the width for trail riding. A lot of XC racers put +1 a-arms on their quad anyway. That brings the width, generally, up to 48-49 inches. The Suzuki comes 49 stock, so its right in the ball park. Switch out those 18' rears for some 20', and you have the baddestall around quad.
XC racers do not put +1 a-arms on. 48-49" is crazy for racing XC. Most have theres set up to be at 46-47" wide at the most.
I run +1 Long travel Housers an my GNCC Z400 and it works out just fine. Most of the pros are running +1/2 or +1.
If they do run them, then they go with 4+1 rims to keep it narrow. What is your width in front in rear? I've raced many races and 46" is the most common width.

Look the stock z400 front wheels = 3.875" + 1.625" off-set so you won't gain much with 4 to 1's but I do run them. The width at the front is 47.5 and the rear is 47 even, this allows the rear to break loose when I need it to and gives more positive responce from the steering. I ran Powerline this past weekend and have run Sparta, and Loretta Lynns along with most of the Mid- South series plus some at Casey and the Saluki 100, the only people you see at 46" are running stock suspension the Z400 is at 45.9 and the yfz is 46.1.

Down here most run a +1 set-up. My R sits at 48' in the front and slightly narrower in the rear. Its wider than most but I have no problem in the trails. And when theres a wide open prarie I can take those turns harder for the pass.
