Default Over tighten oil Resivor Bolt on my Z-400????

the tube is part of a cold air intake for a honda civic lol you can find that tubing anywhere, you just get a piece of flexible rubber that is included in most car intakes to connect the carb to the tube with hose clamps. It flows MUCH better than a K&n with no lid.

Oh ya, i am going to go to the hardwere store in a little bit to get some of that tubing. What did you hang the tube with, if there is no box

Intake looks nice...I need to take a closer look to see how you did that.

One question, where did he mount the CDI? My Dyna mounts to a bracket which mounts to the airbox.

the intake is held on by a large zip tie that we put through a bolt on the cross brace and all the way around the tube, it sucks the tube up against the brace so we out a strip of felt where they come in contact which each othe so neiter one will wear. the cdi is mounted on a small tab thats on the subframe.

Cool!!!!! that looks like it sucks way more air in than the 400ex boot everyone always yaps about.

when you run a fcr40 and this intake is when you will notice the big gains. With the stock airbox set up with no lid and a K&N we could not flow enough air to draw enough fuel from the main jet regardless of how big we tried we were running a 220 main and still had plugs reading lean at one point [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img] but with this intake it changed everything.

Hey scarmbler you got the tube running up and over the shock right, Also what size is that tubbing??

yeah it's over the shock, the tubing is 2 1/2 inches.
