yeah it's just a regular red rubber hose connector. I'll have to go check on the actual length.

good luck but i dont think rubber hosing would be a good idea since it will need to have bend to make it under the cross brace. if you bend the hosing it will likely buckle and not keep a consistent shape throughout.

 

Went to the store and this is what i am going to do. My father owns trucking company and he said that he has some 3'' to 4'' intake tubbing from a Mack truck. ITs hard rubber thats meant to hold and i checked it out i wont even have to bend at any sever angles. I am going to use the 3" tubing running from my K$n and then i am going to use a 3" to 2" adapter peice that will connect my carb to the 3" tubing.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

sounds good. we made another intake prior to the one thats on it now with 3'' tubing and used one of those adapters it worked well.

 

I checked out the rubber hose that comes stock, and that thing just looks like it restricts air.

 

i think you will be pleasently surprised with the power increase but be prepared to change your jetting.

 

Do you think the new carb i am going to order tommorow is going to come with any jets or will i have to buy a new jet kit. Can i use some of the jets in my old carb. What main jet is your bro running?

 

I think he is using a 185 main and a bigger pilot then what came in it but im not sure i will ask him later when he is around and get back to you.
