rm will eat you. no doubt, i destroy ds;s and shees with my 250, so a 125 bike vs, a 400 the 125 will dominate, they are quicker than you think.

 

yeah i run a 400ex and my dad runs a z400 there both piped and jetted and k&n filters ans soem other minor stuff. one of my buddys owns a yz125 and he can burn both of us he has an fmf shorty silencer. i also got beat by a cr125 and i say the rm is equal to the yz. so yeah i have been provened that the 125 bikes can out run z400s and i have also seen a yz125 beat a raptor and banshee in the same race. dirt bikes are in a total different category then quads! there geared totally different and ther a lot faster then anyone thinks

 

people dont realize how fast dirtbikes are.
I have a KX250 and a Z400
the quad if quick but the bike scares the hell out of me
it so quick on take off and the power curve in the mid range
is unbelievable. i've never rode anything smaller but I do know
most 125"s will beat most quads

 

Yes; dirtbikes are very quick tempered machines. Wish quads were that quick. BTW a KTM 525sx is pretty damn fast!!!!!
