I borrowed a Suzuki King Quad 300 4x4 from one of my friends he bought it reel cheap 2nd hand needless to say the previous owner had lost the owners manual so I dont have one. The quad runs great except for one little problem it runs hot and starts to smoke and then the oil temp light comes on so either I need to change the oil or top it off but for the life of me I can't find the stupid oil cap. If anyone could tell me where it is I would gratley appreciate?

Easiest way to find it for the first time is to remove the right rear wheel - it's tucked in close right behind the rear axel on the right side. If you look in front of the axel down below the footrest, you'll see a round glass port - about 1" in diameter. Clean off the glass and you are looking at the oil level (it should be near the top of the glass).
KQ's can be overheat - especially if run slowly on a hot day or if the oil cooler is clogged with mud. Many with older KQ's have added an aux cooling fan.

fiirst of all , you dont need to take the tire off...
the only reson he did not look there is cuz it;s the dumbest place for it .
the oil should not be to the top of the glass the are two lines next to the glass were it should be in between. my king never over heated. prole to low or to high on oil. also check the oil coller and air box .make shore you use a D7EA plug if that runs too hot use a D8EA.
if you have any more questions send me a pm.
