Default What's The difference in K&N Filter kits?

Hey all,

I am looking at possibly getting a K&N filter for my Z400... But i noticed there is the K&N filter for $60, then there are K&N filter kits that are up to about $130!

I guess the 'kit' comes with some kind of adapter? But what adapter do you need if K&N makes it to fit!?!

What's the difference? If it's a K&N filter, shouldn't it all be the same?

Thanks,

Chad

Not sure but I think the lower price is just for the filter itself(like a replacement if you already have the adapter). The $130 is like you said ,filter & adapter

I think the adapter is to get rid of the airbox. Its a plate to affix the filter to.
