Test drove the twin peaks 700
Got to test ride this beast today.Wow lots of torque! This thing had some serious arm stretching pull.It also had bigger 27 inch tires on it so it would pull even harder with the stock 25 inchers on it.I put it in low range and it really pulled hard and still went fairly fast.I don't know a whole lot about the bike but it sure changed my opinion on utilities forever.My only complaint was the back brake seemed a little weak but it may have just been this bike in particular.If your looking for a powerful machine I'd recommend this one.

That may explain the rear brake feeling crappy compared to the front.It actually would just barely skid the tires!On a $10,000 dollar machine with this much zip you'd think they would have hydraulic brakes all around.I read that it is not a conventional brake setup but is sealed in an oil bath with several discs.Still didn't turn me off the machine though I thought it was great.

I agree, a hydralic rear would be nice and feel a little more balanced. It may help to adust the brake, they need it a couple times durning the first few miles. Threre's a wingnut right near the brake, just give it a half turn or two and that should help. Now that I think about it there may be 2 wingnuts, one for the hand-brake and one for the foot... ...I'm sure you can figure it out.
