Well, i just talked to all 3 suzuki dealers in my area in new windsor, ny and they said they'd be getting king quads in for sure on thursday! That was a long wait! Does anybody else know of any kqs at dealers?

 

i think that the stealership moroneys is getting them in.

 

581, i know what you mean about moroney's. The guy there even said as late as next month!!! Oh well, i guess its their problem if they want to lose money. The only thing they are good for is parts!!

 

i dissagree there parts people suck i think that that guy rich is arrogant, and rude. they only like people with bikes.

I had a chance to see the King Quad at the pulls this weekend and i was not impressed at all, in fact i was quite dissapointed after hearing all the hype. I didn't get a chance to ride it but my sponsor was riding it, so i know it wasn't driver error. Off the line it was just plain gutless and did not seem to build rpm as quickly as it should have,and didn't even come close to where my stock 02 P650 pulled (about 30 feet less). The Sukuki rep was there and he figured that they de-tuned the production models due to liability reasons. Just reporting what i saw first hand, so don't think that i am biased or full of $hit, thank you.

 

Thank you for your report hellyeh! And, I don't think it is bullsh%t for the Kawasakis even if they are very powerful they have also been de-tuned for safety precaution. Now, all we have to do is wait for the aftermarket results of the awaken King Quad vs the awaken Brute Force, an even wilder shoot-out[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]!!!

 

Yes i hear you about the de-tuning by the factory. I have managed to "awaken" my 04 700 and let me tell ya, that V-TWIN has got some serious *****. I don't think you will see the kind of torque out of that single as you do with the V_TWIN. My dealer told me the KQ's was enroute and will be delivered Wednesday afternoon. Hopefully one is RED so I can get my hands on one before this weekend. Another dealer said he is getting his 4 KQ by this Friday. The good news is that the dealers are talking "Days" instaed of weeks! So close but yet so far a way.
