Default looking for a strat Quadzilla FRAME and case seal leak

Hey there all, Im looking for a strait Quadzilla frame for my quadzilla. Everything is excelent on my bike accept the frame is a bit tweaked. ok a lot tweaked you can see in the pictures. I had it bent back a bit and welded so it is OK saftey wise. after some toe-in ajustment I got it to stop pulling to either side for the most part but, I was previously going to sell it and now im thinking of continuing to restore it to a better condition because if I sell it now it will just become harder and harder to find what I want and as of now I know what im getting myself into where as whenever you buy somthing used you always end up with supprises, I sure did when I bought this one. All it needs now is a strait frame and a new main seal on the bottom end. the guy who does a lot of work on my ATVs for me said as long as i check the tranny fluid and keep it at a safe level a few drips here and there from the case isnt dangerous. Do you all agree? He said its somewhat normal for them to do that after a while. I dont have the time to figure out splitting the cases myself and dont have the money to have him replace the seal for me so I would prefer to keep riding it but not if its going to bite me in the butt in the end.

Back to the frame issue. Im not in a big rush I plan on riding the bike for the rest of this year and maybe as a project over the next year or two I want to tare the bike down and rebuild it on a new and strait frame. I have my Wolverine so its not my only bike and im in no rush really once I tare it down my parents will behappy to have it out of the garage and into a corner in the basement I think.

One last question is about putting it back together. What percentage of the parts do you think will have to be replaced because they wont fit on a strait frame? will the A-arms and steering stem need to be replaced as well? how about the grab bar section of the frame? other then that I cant see too much needing to be ajusted/ replaced but if im missing things id like to know now before I get myself into it. I will definatly be buying a full bolt set when i make the switch.

Will it matter which year the frame is? my bike is a 1989 will an 87 frame be different I think they have different A-arms dont they??? i would think the 88-90 would all be compatible but i wasnt sure about the 87

im in the market for a 1989 quadzilla stock front bumper. the one like I have now just without the dent in it. it doest go strait and then bend at 90 degrees like the 87s do it is fatter and slants back.

Finally, do you all think its a "sound investment" to put the work into it or should I just ride it like it is? what are your opinions? All i can say is Ive always been a two stroke fan since i was a little kid. I had two stroke dirtbikes and when i switched to quads i went to four stroke. dont get me wrong I love my Wolverine but ever since hear about a 500cc two stroke I was hooked on the idea. I've thought about selling it and looking for a tecate or 250r but I just cant bring myself to think of getting rid of it. After finally getting it running smoothly even though its not practical to ride all of the time Its one of the most exilerating rides ive ever had. I dont know if i could ever go back theres somthing so fufilling about owning the fastest production quad ever made just makes me feel good inside. I feel like if i get and keep this Zilla and my Wolverine in top shape I wont ever really need another quad. what else could i need in place of them?

CTATV, It's real hard to find a straight Zilla frame. They are all tweaked a tad bit. I had a pretty straight 88-90 frame but i sold it a year ago. Sorry. If you have a 88-90 zilla ,thats the frame you want. The 87 frame is different ; The top a-arm mounts are different, The steering stem base it different and where the swing-arm mount cross section has been reinforced differently. Stay with the 88-90 so you dont have buy addtional parts to fit. It's extremely hard to find a good straight one , but keep trying. I ended up Buying my Frame from
East Coast ATV. I had them clean it up and Powder coat it candy Blue before they shipped it out to me. It's pretty straight, not perfect but good enough.
Good Luck,
Zig

There were 2 on ebay, but the auction done run out.....keep your eyes peeled, they'll be more I'm sure.

And 87 used a long-tube A-arm where the upper bolts on. 88-90 mount just like the lower arms, with 2 small tubes.
