700 kq top speed
#2
According to all the mag reviews, the top end is close to 72mph. A lot of independent consumers are reporting weak bottom end compared to the Brute Force, but I don't think that's a fair matchup in the power department.

most big bore bikes are around the same. i havn't heard any off hand top end statements since everyone is still in break in, but i have a report of hitting 69mph at 3/4 throttle. so i'd say 72-73 but i wont assume any higher. u have to remember thats of the speedo tho, so its not absolute. since all bigbores have about the same top end, the important thing on speed is acceleration, and from what i hear (and can really well assume from knowing the engine) is it has a great amount of acceleration.
Btw, redgoblin. whats the point of bringing up the arguable topic of low end on a question about top speed, especially when he never asked anything about the BF???????????????????????????????????

I got mine to 69, but had to let off. I would say no more then 75 tops. Still breaking it in. Throttle response seems to get better each time I take it out.

I hit 71 on Saturday on an open straight away. My buddy with an FST 800 VForce rolled away from me at 71. That thing is SICK!!! I generally don't ride this fast, but I wanted to see what it would do. Here's my impression. If you are going to go that fast, you'll need a steering stabilizer. The "light" steering effect gets a ton "lighter" when you're traveling at those speeds. I think a tire swap and a stabilizer will calm that down.
