started playing with rebound & compression dampening today, what a difference on rough desert terrain.
how is the best way to adjust for sand, could,nt find a happy setting

 

it took a while for me to adjust my shocks to the way I liked
I like mine a little soft in the sand but thats me
you need to keep adjusting till you find the settings you like
I have elka shocks for almost 2 years now and still dont have them the way I like
when riding in the desert

 

i nailed the desert, it was loose on compression and 1/4 turn slower than factory setting on the rebound. (unless your on fast woops then rebound is too slow)

 

sand isnt much different is just gives a little more when you ride
when I ride its in a river bottom with about 15 miles of sand
and lots of hills all around to ride so its hard for me to get my shocks exactly the way
I like, sometimes they're to soft and then to hard, for the dunes its easy for me to set my shocks
you have to remember I changed my suspension a lot and if you dont get the
setting right on or close it makes for a rough ride and it makes you tired faster
