I just ordered a DG Xccelerator stage 3 for my 04 ltz 250 this morning.

How do u think it will sound on the bike, and will I notice much bottom end difference?

Oh yeah, should I pay the garage an hours labour to install it, or is it pretty easy to do myself?

 

i have taken the exaust of my quad many many times. its verysimple. the only thing you might need someone with experiance to do is to re-jet your carburator. Good luck.

 

Hey i have the same exhaust you order but for a lakota sport. Let me tell you right off this pipe kick a$$ i could not have made a better choice. You will get much more bottom end and same with mid and top end. I was barly able to wheelie when my quad was stock but now it's easy and i can wheelie through 1, 2, 3, and 4th gear. If you are wondering it's a loud pipe but it sounds great and looks sweet. I also love the way it works and the performance you get from it. Make sure you have it jetted right away for best performance. If i were you i would take it to your local dealer to get it jetted, if it is not jetted right bad things can happen. I do all the work on my quad myself but i didn't feel like messing up the jetting so i took it to the dealer to be safe. Also it's cake to put it on the exhaust well at least on my quad it was. On my friends z250 we put a yoshimura slip-on on and it was a little hard because where the plastics and the way everything is set up, but it works great now.

I just went to the dealers to pick my exhaust up as they told me it would be 2 days. They tell me the son of a bitch is on back order and won't be in until Nov 5/04. **** me off, I am so pumped to get this new pipe, and now by the time the thing gets here, there will be snow on the ground.

 

Yeah that does suck, i was so happy that my pipe was not on back order, but now the nerf bars that i want are, so i have to wait until Christmas to get them so whatever the wait make it more fun.
