i need to sell my rm 250, its a mint bike, but the problem is no one seems at all interested.
whats the best meathod,
e-bay
or the news paper.
what do you guys think its worth , i want to be fair and not over priced, but still want to get what i put into it.
is 3000$ unrealistic or am i dreaming? go to here and on my home page is the newest picture, the only thing wrong is a dinged pipe, other than that its mint, i seem to have one of the nicest bikes people tell me, but when i say its for sale they are interested, is it that bikes arent hot now?

Check the kbb or nada price online and then search around atvtraderonline and the auto swappers for similar bikes in your area. If your bike is in better shape, you can sell it faster at the same price.
You will take a hit on it, and you probably wont get what its worth. Thats the price you pay when you sell a used item. Just try to minimize the loss and get rid of it. It's worth a few bucks to get rid of it sooner than later, so dont be too stingy.

I have found that putting it in our local auto trader mag works great. The calls come in quick and the selling prices stay at good levels. The magazines are free so anyone can pick them up and take a look at your machine. They also have online listings.
It's my understanding that this particular publication only runs in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio, but you should have something similar in your neck of the woods.

You can give them a call, submit by mail or now by email. Our magazine comes out and takes the picture of the machine themselves. I assume this is partially for convenience for the seller, and partly to reduce liability issues with the phantom vehicles like we see on ebay all of the time.

Put in the trade n times or auto trader. I sold my xr100 the 3rd day it was in the auto trader and it was winter.
