Default Question for the Z owners

I need some help. I just changed my front sprocket from a 14t to a 13t. After I put the new sprocket on I adjusted the chain all the way in and it is still loose. Is this a common problem or is my chain just wore out?

Default Question for the Z owners

sound like your chain is worn out
you should be able to adjust for a smaller sprocket
is it a stock chain? if it is I would replace it anyway
are you running stock size on the rear

Default Question for the Z owners

I put a 13 on mine and had no problem with adjusting it out. Sounds like it's time for a new chain.

Yes the chain is stock and yes the rear sprocket is stock. I bought the first bike the dealer had at the end of 02 so I guess the chain is shot. Any one brand of chains better than another?
