The BIGGEST Zilla
what kind of times does your zilla run zuk?
wannaracelt500. you are a loser and should quit digging yourself in a hole.
horsepower is a function of torque and rpm. to make it, your motor needs to spin fast and retain some decent torque or make alot of torque at a low rpm. either way, it's best for straight line racing to make torque at higher rpm cause you can take advantage of gearing.
ex. 20 ft lbs @ 10000rpm yeilds 38hp
40 ft lbs @ 5000rpm yeilds 38hp
If you could manage to pull 40 ft lbs at 10000 rpm though, horsepower would double yeilding 76 hp. If you can pull hard all the way to 10000rpm, you can hold gears alot longer than you could if your motor was done at 5000rpm. basically, shift to maximize transmission output torque.
