2002 Suzuki Eiger 4X4 questions Please help!
#1
Does anyone have a shop book they could E-Mail me the following information from?I have a 2002 Suzuki LT-F400FK Eiger 4X4 manual, and would like help with the following information.I'm rebuilding the motor, and the machine shop needs to know what I need for a clearance for the piston to cylinder wall so the rings will fit right.I have a 0.5 oversize piston I'm going to use.I also need the following information too.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank You very much!
Tyler
1.The torque specs on the top half of the motor.(Head bolts, base ETC.)and crankcase clutch cover.
2.The round dimple on the piston points towards the exhaust, right?
3.With the line on the magneto, and the arrow on the outside of the motor lined up,how should the chain be put on the cam so the timing will be right.I see the cam end has two lines on it.Do they line up with the edge of the head horizontally,if so,which way is right. It can go two ways.
4.Lastly,do you have a picture of how the rings should be lined up on the piston? That, and I noticed one of the rings has the inside edge beveled, and outside surface is chrome, and the other ring is neither.Which is the top ring. Both have R and 50 written on them.
Thanks Again!
