Try bumping down a tooth in the front. I did the reverse on my LT, i went from 22" to 20" and went up a tooth.

If you're just changing gearing, increasing acceleration/torque will always decrease top end speed, and vice versa. One of those old smart guys once said, for every action, there's an equal reaction!

I would get a pipe/filter kit for starts, and stroker motors make nice bottom end power.

I have a ? though, why bear claws on a sport quad?

what kind of quad is it going on?? I still think that knobbies would be just as good because look at all the cross country racers. You dont see many of those guys getting seriously hung up and they usually only have Razr2's or HoleshotXCR or HD's. Thats just me but i hate mud tires on sport quads.

man when i bought my 500, it came with some mud tires on it. 25" tall suckers. worked great in the snow, but otherwise sucked. as soon as i had the money, i ordered up some 20x11x10 shredders.
