Quadzilla Top Speed?
#14
I had a new '89 Zilla back in the day, a ported '90 a few years ago and now another '89 (for sale). For a stock machine 80-ish is reasonable. Highly modified --ported, piped, race fuel, sprocketsand tires-- a Zilla can be awe inspiring and speeds over 100 mph are possible.
I totally agree with wishing for a kick start on the beast.

I just got a ratio rpm sprocket etc.. chart.
I just need the rpm you get when youre at top and I can have the speed...
I heard the max rpm of the zilla is 6800 but thats not on 5th gear. Basically, the only thing that makes a quad faster when modded is that it will be able to rev highter on 5th. The others parameters stay the same.
For example a stock 87 zilla with 20 inch tires that tops at 5000rpm will do 93mph. 4500rpm drops to 83mph
Thats with stock gearing
