2005 King quad will not wheelie
#11
boy I have no problem wheeling a kq they wheelie easier then anyother 4x4 ive every riden. I work at a dealership that sells kawa suzuki honda and yamaha. and it wheelies really easy. if you cant pull an easy wheelie on a kq then you dont know how to wheelie no offence.

That's "offense", and I do have the necessary skills to wheelie. To say that it wheelies easier than any other utility quad you have ridden can not be accepted as even as an opinion, it's simply BULL$HIT.

well it does wheelie easy and if you get frusterated as quickly trying to wheelie as you do at my openion then I can see why your having trouble. I was just statin how easy it wheelis compared to the other utility machines ive riden and ive tried them all I race atv mx so I have ridden alot of different machines and quite frankly everyone that I know says that the kq is a breese to wheelie. So I am not saying your not a skilled rider I am just saying that you must not be doing something right.

I had a feeling this may get a little heated. With everything I've read from the mags to the forums I think the KQ sounds like it's the right quad for me. (did you notice I didn't say the best) I'm not sure there is such a thing anything but just the right quad for the right person. If someone could make the best quad for everyone then we would all be riding the same thing and how much fun would that be? As far as I can tell the only thing I may not care to much about the KQ is that the front rack is crazy small.
Here's a list of things I think are a must for a large sport/ute and they are in no paticular order:
1. Large racks/storage
2. Strong winch
3. After market tires (ITP Mud Lites) IMO they are the best of both worlds (mud/trail)
4. EFI
5. IRS
6. Locker
There's a lot more but I'm just to lazy to keep going. Call me crazy but I may just wait until 2006 to buy my next quad. Who knows what will be out then, may a Super King Monster Quad!

Starting in second gear on my dad's 2003 Honda Rancher 350 2x4 i can stand her straight up. This is on flat ground sitting on the seat with a yank on the bars so hard it almost pulls your arms out of your sockets, but it can be done. I am 16 and weigh 180 pounds. I have never ridden a King Quad but i'd imagine a 700 with fuel injection should have no problem. I have ridden a Prarie 700 and if the king quad is anything like that you should have no problem.

Cam650,
I have an idea...since you are buying a BF Tuesday, why don't you go back to the Kaw forum now. I for one am absoluately tired of hearing you continousily whine about the KQ. You do it here and other forums and it is the same thing over and over and over and over and over again. Buy some cheese for your wine and go to Kaw!

Good job sds, at least you can spell, but I think I used the "cheese with my your whine" in fifth grade. I have a quick suggestion for both of you: at LEAST own one of the quads we're talking about. Neither of you have any credibility since NEITHER of you own a KQ or any other big bore utility.
