I know that DG makes the Xccelerator and the RCM exhausts for the LT230S, but I have seen and heard of exhausts made by White Brothers and Supertrap on other 230S's. Does anybody know where i could get a White Brothers or Supertap for my LT230S? I called White Brothers and they say they don't have a pipe for the 230...

 

your only hope is to find one on ebay, otherwise DG and Cobra are your only choices

 

Supertrapp does make a universal slip on that will fit it but its not a full system.i would just go with the dg pipe personally

 

I'm looking for the quietest pipe possible for my '85 LT-230S. The stock pipe and header lists at $220, and the dealer says they'll sell it for $180. I know most aftermarket pipes are louder than stock, but I don't want to spend the stock price. Which of the DG series is quieter? Would you go with a DG or a Cobra if you wanted a quieter one?

 

they're both loud. cobra might be louder, don't know for sure. the only quiet pipe would be the DG Xcelerator w/ spark arrester.
Dennis KIrk shows it in the catalog for 300+bucks. ouch!

 

I have the cobra and it is loud, but not much louder than the DG..and for about $110 new it's a decent choice. I got mine off of eBay for $45 new..

 

Thanx for the help... I was figuring DG was pretty much my only option. I heard the Xccelerator was a more than decent pipe anyways. And yeah the DG Xccelerator is quieter than the Cobra pipe, i'm not sure if the DG RCM pipe is quieter though.
