I have purchased a Ramsey 2500 wireless remote. It came with a roller fairlead.
The winch mount that I got from my dealer (made for the Eiger and I specified Ramsey 2500) consists of one plate with some mounting holes and bolts.....and a welded hook that, I assume, is for attaching a ******-block. There is no "slot" that would seem to have to be there for the fairlead.
Does this sound like the correct set-up ?
(Like to know before I tear into the installation process)

I have the ramsey 2500 winch on a rancher 350. it didnt come with the parts to installit like the roller. i had to buy the kit from warn to install it properly. make sure all the parts are compatable before tearing into it. mount the solenoid somewhere very dry. sometimes it dont matter i have had it get wet and not work. could be a bad thing if u need it and its to wet to work. good luck with the installation.
