I have been testing a few of the big bore bikes that I was interested in. I am looking for something that would make a great trail rig and I am thinking of building a rig for the utility class in harescrambles. I have tested the prarie700 team green version and i was very impressed with the power. I tested a king today and it felt really nimble and turned extremely well. It did not seem to have the power of the prarie down low or midrange. I was not able to get either wide open. The king had a bust or miss when the throttle was opened fast then it would clean up and go. Is it possible the computer is going to take time to adjust to the cooler weather or riding style? The polaris scrambler would be awsome with the new 800 efi, but, from testing the prarie 700 gets the nod. Can someone tell me if the responsiveness will get better with time on the king? Thanks...

I've read that the hesitation is a programmed function of the efi computer. Not sure why they would have done that. The prairie 700 is a totally different machine...its a solid rear axle. The Kawi Brute has the IRS. I'm kind of stuck in the same dilemma, I test drove a Brute Force and didn't care for the turning and ride, but it had a helluva an engine. I'm still leaning over towards the Grizzly. Best bang for the buck IMO.
