Like what kind of "BAD" things with the Edelbrock??
Mine is working great, a small problem with the float needle sticking when I first put it on, Then getting it jetted properly for all My mods, BUT now I just pour gas in it and run it.

i heard they are harder to jet, and that they bog sometimes which has caused alotta people to miss a double jump. Thats just what i heard from people that had it, and switched to FCR's...no personal experience here..

Probably a little harder to change the needle, it has NO jets. But once you get the needle right for wide open, then you just turn an adjuster for the rest. also has a accel pump adj. If they have a flat spot or it bogs, something is not adjusted right. From what I have heard and seen, Edelbrock has excellent Cust Service.
Just call them, they will help you out. My son runs one on His EX440 with all kinds of mods.
I will agree that the FCR would be a better choice for a highly modified bored out machine.

What's wrong with a Edelbrock?? PRICE!!!
I can buy 2 Lectrons for the price of one Edelbrock. And I certainly would. I love my Lectron!
