Pressure in coolant hose lt250r

Default Pressure in coolant hose lt250r

In my 88 lt250r,even after the quad has cooled down,There is always a pretty good amount of pressure in the hose thaty connects to the water pump.i loosened the clamp at the water pump end and it actualy sqirted out!,what would be causing this?

check to see if somewhere you are leaking compression into the water system...head gasket may be a good place to start
