Will there be a 5 speed King Quad?
#1
I read in here somewhere something about someone speculating about a 5 speed King Quad...
Is this just a wish, guess or rumor, or is there something actually coming?
Sorry about the stupid question. I'm looking for a powerful, sporty handling utility, preferably with IRS, but I have a personal preference for manual shifting.
Anyone actually know anything...

Well, at least it looks like I'm not the only one in the world who would like to have a big bore high end quad with great IRS in a manual.
I was hoping someone who works for a dealer or for Suzuki would chime in and say that one is in the pike, though... I guess I'm just dreaming.

I hope they come out with a 5 speed too. Every quad I've ever ridden has been manual. I dunno what I'd do if I got on an automatic. I'm seriously thinking about abondoning the idea of waiting on the Z450. I might just go and get the King Quad if it does come out in a 5 speed.

I really dont think they will be comming out with a manual shift KQ. They did it with the vinson but i cant see them doing it with the KQ. I went from a Manual Shift Vinny to a New auto KQ and i tell ya, The KQ is a superb machine. The machine handles so well in the woods. There is probably more power there then actually needed. Just hit the throttle and the machine just finds the extra power to get there. The thing i love about it is you can goose the throtle and lift the front end easilly over just about any rutt, log ,rock, whatever. The machine is awesome. At first i kept looking to shift the damn thing...lol Habbit.... Now that i got used to the automatic thing...i realize its one less thing to think about and it makes the ride that much more enjoyable.
