Default Cold Starting King Quad

This is my up date, after my dealer installed new wiring harness, codes kept coming up. Together with other Suzuki dealers from across Canada, they hope they have the problem solved. There is only one ground and it is believed that you can never have enough grounds. This being said, they hook up another ground and they say should help. I let you all know later. As for cold starting problems, read your owners manual on starting atv properly. You are right, change your oil to, I'm quoting manual, 5W30 for temperatures below - 10 degrees C. If hard starting in cold weather use 1/8 throttle. You can find this on page 3-7 and 3-21 in owners manual.

Best advice I can give you is keep it on a battery Tender AT ALL TIMES when not riding. Having a strong battery is a must with a big bore machine. And cold weather cranking takes all the juice a battery can muster.

I have a motorcycle with a 124ci motor (2034cc), and have had "NO" trouble with a battery in almost 4 years. When I'm not on it the Battery Tender is.

They (Battery Tender) have a pig-tail that can be directly connected to your battery, that then plugs into the wall-charger. For $30 it can save you from a big headache.
