Default Locker for the Eiger???

Im not up to speed on the detriot gearless locker. But then again it seems like Im behind on everything around here. I know what I know and that aint much. Do they make this thing for the Eiger? Is there any other way to turn the Eiger into a locker?

Thanks for the response guys. I found that site a couple days ago, figured it was a dumb question due to lack of response. I noticed vinson581 had one on his vinny and sent him a message. Hes a really great guy, easy to talk(write) to,and will willingly answer anything. Hes got over 2000 hard miles on the thing without a glitch, is everything they say it is and more, and refers to it as the single best mod hes done. Talked to a couple others by phone that had them on hondas, they love em too, cant even tell its there until they need it. This thing brings hope for alot of other bikes that dont have true 4wd. It engages like you usually would without extra buttons and levers. I believe im sold.

Default Locker for the Eiger???

Now Im bummed again. I feel like a woman going through menopause. Seems like they only offer it for a 2002 model. So what changed?

wow, hmmm. i think when highlifter wrote there site, thats the year it was either 2002 or 2003- the page hasnt been updated since, hence 05's werent out yet, as far as i know suzuki did NOT change the frount diff on a 2005 eiger, or vinson. i would call them, i have a 100% feeling you will be good to go, and from my knowledge there have been no changes the the frount driveline on the suzuki lineup.

Thanx for the advice 581. I called high lifter, they said 2002 and 2003, but they did have listing for other bikes up to 2005. Called service at a local dealership, apparently there has been a change of the front differential in midyear of 2004. The way to tell is the last digit of the frame number. The differential remained the same with the following frame number. 5SAAK46K3X102000 . They changed when the last numbers read102001. Hopefully this may help other Eiger owners considering the locker.

Default Locker for the Eiger???

Hello,

I recently ordered the gearless locker for my '05 vinson. I haven't put it in yet, so I can't say if it will work for sure or not. But I ordered it from atvoutfitters.net, the salesman I spoke with said it would work in my '05. I'm hoping he knew what he was talking about, but I guess I will only know for sure when I try to put it in. It would be good to know exactly what changes Suzuki made to the diffs'. Anyone?
