Well, I started the install of the locker in my '05 vinson, but they left out the differential cap in the kit so I couldn't finish the installation. They are sending me one, but it wont get to me for a few days. So far it has gone smoothly, the only difference from my differential and the one in the installation pictures is that the radial bearings stay in the differential housing in the pics, on mine the bearings are pressed onto the differential and stay on it. It shouldn't be any problem to remove it from the stock diff cap and press it on to the new one, if that is all it takes I will be happy. But I wont know for sure until I get the new diff cap and get it back together.

 

Keep us posted how it turns out. Kinda sucks not to be able to finish it without delay.

yea but the vinson wont break either! so thats a nice plus, and it will out run it each and every time.

Is there a huge diffrence with this locker for the eigger?

 

W8 a sec, says eiger has front diff lock, so whats locker for?

 

Muddy Mess the eiger does NOT have a locking front differential stock off the showroom floor to the best of my knowledge. That or I have been unable to locate mine over the last 2 years [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
