Default Proper Tire Pressure for Dirt bikes. Rebuild of my RM

my RM 250 i checked the tire pressure. mainly because i tore the bike down to the frame, and am getting it ready for next seasons riding. the rear tire has 7.5psi which is too low, and the frount is a sad 5. i have heard 12, 15, and 16 psi, what should i run, i ride on hard dirt, with a tire combination setup for that condition.

i will post some pictures of my rm torn down, its starting to look brand new!!!

so far i have polished some of the motor, the side cases are now brightened up to a mirrow polish, it looks so nice.

also i took the pipe off, looked in through the exhaust ports. well i had no idea! this bike has riffled ports, full blown port job with polishing. the exhaust ports are huge but not over kill. guess i finally figured out why the racer before me had but a fmf gold series on it for a 2003 RM, when mine is a 2000.

im telling ya everytime i work on this thing i find out more about it. makes me feel lucky, being i thought i got a mild bike, now thats the reason i can run away from anything and everything. i really didnt think stock 250s were that fast!

thanks.

well its coming along quite nicely. the compression on the motor is well above what it should be at, there are no scores on the cylinder walls. i repacked all the bearings and bushings, and man what a world of difference. i finished polishing the side cases to a mirror finish, it really brings out a speacial feel that most bikes dont have. the only other thing i think i am going to replace is pipe, i bought a new shorty, and now am going to replace the dented gold series fatty, with a gold series platinum gnarly.

hey does anyone know where to get that stupid 2 inch gasked that couples the silencer to the expansion chamber?
