Yes its cool to use car antifreeze.Thats what I have always used.
Remember you have to dilute the antifreeze before you put it in your radiator.
I usualy go half and half,half water and half antifreeze.Also don't use tap water as this will cause unnessary corrosion over time,use distiled water,can be found at any Wal-Mart. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]I use my ratio rite to mix mine in.

It should be the one with heavier wires. One is a sensor (low power) and the other is a thermal-switch. You can also use a volt-meter and test which one gets power (12 volts) when the ignition is on. If you are losing coolant, you might want to check the oil and be sure it doesn't have water in it. If it's OK then you can replace the switch and coolant. Be sure to flush the system, mix the right ratio and use distilled water.
